Happily surprised to find this quaint affordable motel on I 40. Rooms were clean and pleasantly decorated. Comfortable beds for a nice quiet rest. Rubber ducky in the bathtub was nice touch! We will be back!
A Route 66 style motel, with big, quiet rooms and large, comfortable beds. A single story structure where you can park and unload your car at the door of your room. Nice people run the place and they always make you feel welcome. The rooms are very reasonably priced also and you can see one of the actual rooms for yourself, albeit briefly, in the Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine and Ben Foster movie "Hell or High Water". I have made several vacations westward through Moriarty, NM and always make it a point to stay here going to and from my vacation destinations. It is not a fancy, newer style motel, but it more than suits my needs and I highly recommend it.

My initial impression was of genuine caring in maintaining a comfortable, appealing environment. Well-tended , outdoor plants aesthetically arranged. The soothing, tasteful colors of the rooms' walls providing a sense of calm. Sunlight filling an already light and airy bathroom. All meticulously clean and well-thought-out to provide maximum convenience and rest.The owners give new meaning to the term gracious. If we are ever anywhere in the Albuquerque area again, we will be back. Thank you!
The reviews online were good – very good. The motel was very clean, updated, and the owner was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, everything was sufficient, the rubber ducky in the bathroom was an extra treat, but It stays in the hotel room – I couldn't take them home with me. There's a little sitting area outside with plenty of chairs and a table for eating. There was a gas grill and a small grill next to it. I said outside last night and watched a hummingbird feed on the pretty flowers. The price was good! Nice meeting Debbie, an owner.
We arrived to check availability. We were excited to stay at a route 66 motel and to support a local business. We were instead greeted by a vacant office and a locked door. We called and a woman answered and didn't know if there was availability. We started walking around the property to peep the rooms and the phone woman abruptly popped out of one of the rooms incredibly annoyed that we we walking around. We asked if anything was available. She said she didn't know. We asked how much the rooms are. She said she didn't know. We asked if we could see a room, not once but twice, she absolutely refused. She was rude, huffy and completely useless as a desk clerk. We figured the motel is a drug front or meth lab, as there was only one car there at 10am and she didn't want to rent or show rooms and seemed clueless about the availability of rooms. So we left and stayed at Super 8 down the street and received impeccable service. I would actually rate this place zero stars if that was an option.
